Q What has changed with the updated elbow sleeves?
A The updated elbow sleeves offer the same great support as our original elbow sleeves, but now incorporate our antimicrobial technology to minimise bacteria and reduce odour, featuring an improved inner lining with greater grip and resistance to runs. They also feature the new SBD logo, bringing further consistency across our product range.
Q Why has the price increased?
A The new elbow sleeves have been updated to include our latest advancements in both seams and linings to further improve longevity and performance. They also now have the same antimicrobial inner lining found in the weightlifting knee sleeves, 7mm knee sleeves and powerlifting knee sleeves to minimise bacteria and reduce odour.
Q How should I wash the elbow sleeves?
A We recommend hand washing the sleeves with warm water and a mild detergent (or with a specialist neoprene or wetsuit detergent), then allowing the sleeves to air dry standing up.
The spin cycle of a washing machine can damage the sleeve, as the elbow sleeves become quite bulky when wet and can potentially get caught up or damaged by wringing. High heat from a washing machine or a dryer will degrade the rubber in the sleeves (potentially causing shrinkage or brittleness).
Q What is the warranty on the new elbow sleeves?
A We provide a 12-month warranty period against production defects on all our products. Although we expect our products to last a significant amount of time, we would expect that in the rare event that a production defect is missed by our quality control, then it would be apparent to the customer within this period. Issues outside of this period are typically attributable to wear and tear.
